Wereld Vrede Stoepa Centrum Winterswijk
Na bijna 20 jaar wordt de droom van een retraitecentrum tussen de twee Nyingma stadscentra in Amsterdam en Keulen nu bijna werkelijkheid!! Het plan voor een nieuw retraitecentrum in Winterswijk was net afgerond toen Tarthang Tulku het World Peace Stupa Project aankondigde. Hij nodigt zijn studenten uit om grote World Peace Stupa’s te bouwen op vier continenten – in Zuid-Amerika, Japan, het Midden-Oosten en Europa.
In afwachting van toestemming van de gemeente is de Wereld Vredes Stoepa voor Europa nu gepland in Winterswijk, toepasselijk gelegen aan de Nederlands-Duitse grens.
Crowdfunding voor de aankoop van de locatie gestart!
We hebben een prachtige locatie gevonden aan de Kreilweg 1 in Winterswijk. Dit zal een geweldige plek zijn voor retraites en projecten, en ook voor de World Peace Stupa.
Voor de aankoop is voor het eind van dit jaar circa 1,4 miljoen euro nodig. Veel daarvan hebben we al gedekt maar er ontbreekt nog ruim 300.000 euro.
Je kunt daarbij helpen op veel verschillende manieren: via obligatieleningen, periodieke donaties, eenmalige donaties of grotere schenk-/leen overeenkomsten op maat.
Op de nieuwe WPSCE website vind je alle mogelijkheden om ons te steunen en links om je aan te melden of contact op te nemen over afspraken op maat.

Een nieuwe stichting
De Nyingma centra in Duitsland en Nederland hebben samen een nieuwe, onafhankelijke stichting opgericht, de World Peace Stupa Center Europe Foundation. Deze nieuwe stichting werkt nauw samen met haar Europese partners en stelt zich ten doel:
- Een World Peace Stupa te bouwen die wijsheid en mededogen in alle richtingen zal uitstralen.
- Het aantal mensen dat de weg naar innerlijke vrede vindt te vermenigvuldigen door korte retraites en programma’s aan te bieden in de prachtige omgeving van Winterswijk Woold.
- Een thuisbasis in Europa creëren voor langere dharma retraites en projecten.

The stupa will manifest to all its visitors the wordless power of goodness, peace and love and will help calm the forces of emotionality, violence and hatred that plague our world so much today. The stupa will be open to a general audience and visitors from all faiths.
World Peace Stupa Center Winterswijk
After nearly 20 years, the dream of having a retreat center between the two Nyingma City Centers in Amsterdam and Cologne is almost coming true. The plan for a new retreat center in Winterswijk was just finalized when Tarthang Tulku announced the World Peace Stupa Project. He invited his students to build large World Peace Stupas on four continents—in South America, Japan, Middle-East and Europe.
Awaiting permission from the municipality, the World Peace Stupa for Europe is now planned in Winterswijk, appropriately located at the Dutch-German border.
Crowdfunding for the purchase of the location started!
We have found a beautiful location at Kreilweg 1 in Winterswijk. This will be a great place for retreats and projects, and also for the World Peace Stupa.
The purchase requires about EUR 1.4 million by the end of this year. We have already covered much of this, but over €300,000 is still required.
You can help in many different ways: through bond loans, periodic donations, one-off donations or larger customised gift/loan agreements.

New Foundation
Together, the Nyingma Centers in Germany and the Netherlands have established a new, independent foundation the World Peace Stupa Center Europe Foundation. Closely cooperating with its European partners, this new foundation aims to:
- Build a World Peace Stupa that will radiate wisdom and compassion in all directions.
- Multiple the number of people who find their way to inner peace by offering a rich array of short retreats and World Peace Stupa Center Winterswijk.
- Create a home base in Europe for longer dharma retreats and projects for European Dharma students.
